I weeded the yard, mowed half the lawn and scrubbed the kitchen floor. I also let the bread machine make dough, and then wrapped up hot dogs and baked them. The kids loved them. Then I made bread sticks with the left over dough, and had them with spaghetti for dinner. I had a good time playing ball in the yard after dinner, and finally read a book to my two year old. The weather was fantastic today.

Day 36: Lunch @ Over the Border
We celebrated a coworkers birthday today at a mexican restaurant. I just nibbled on some chips as I'm really motivated on getting my weight as low as I can before my mom comes to visit. We had all the staff come over and do the birthday song/routine for this guy while I video'd it, soon to be on YouTube. Muahahahaha.

Day 34: Breaking Records
It's been a long road from 240, but I finally broke 200 today. Still a bit to go, but at least I broke past this big milestone.

Took the kids kayaking today. We ended up having a good time, and now the kids would like to save up for a kayak and go all the time.

Day 28: Rain
I was hoping to capture some lightning in the background so I set the camera to take a 15 second exposure. I didn't get lightning in any of my shots though.

Day 26: Yard work is done
I got rid of the second dead bush in the front and replaced it with some St. John's Wart. It's looking much better now.

Day 24: Father's Day
Doh! That reminds me, I gotta call my dad.
This is the bread I made in the bread machine. It's sooo good when it's fresh and warm. Some butter and garlic salt = YUM!

Day 16: Tired
I did a lot of yard work today. The big thing was mowing the lawn because I cut it real short which ended up causing me to empty the bag a lot.
The pool is much better now, it just need a little bit more cleaning but looks good now.
Soooo sunburned
Zach and Jackie had a daughter they named Reagan.

Day 15: Company Party
Took the family to a company party thing today. I got to show them the control room, noc, data center, and my desk. Kids played in the bounce house, I had a veggie burger, and I picked up a couple company branded water (sport) bottles. Good fun, and it didn't rain.
It turns out that I -AM- allergic to the fabric softener after all. Today is day three of my hives and I hate every minute of it. It's a lot of pain beyond the itching. Tomorrow I'm going to be spending rewashing all my clothes. I'm wearing this particular shirt because I know it hasn't touched the fabric softener.

Day 14: Friday
It's finally the end of the week. I found out that It's not the fabric softener that I am allergic to, but this green tea at work. Crazy. It's time to attempt to catch up on some sleep that I didn't get last night.
Today, Zach and Jackie had their baby. Congrats to them!

Day 13: Nasty Pool
I got to add chlorine to the pool that's filled with some sediment, I assume rust from the city water supply. Hopefully I'll have this all cleaned up and ready to go before it gets really hot out.
Day 12: Driving Home
Not much today. I'm on call this week so I have to be ready to drive into work to fix stuff on a moments notice. Got the pool up last night. Wow there is a lot of crap in the water supply. I'm shocking, cleaning, and otherwise working on the pool this week. Grass needs to be cut badly.

Day 11: Checking the mail
Today it rained the entire day. At least it let up a bit while I went to check the mail. That's the nice thing about having Netflix. I check the mail much more often and find that I forget about bills less. Yes, I am in my P.J.'s.

Day 8: Sad Dad Bad Had
Dad is sad.
Very, very sad.
He had a bad day.
What a day Dad had!
I mistakenly renewed my wifes registration thinking it was my own. I was just waiting for my stickers to arrive in the mail. As fate would have it, at 7:30 am, -THE DAY- my registration expired, I was pulled over and had to get a tow because the officer cannot allow non registered vehicles on the road. I was given a warning, called in late for work, and my wife picked me up and got me to the RMV to renew. $41 for the registration and $90 for the tow (literally two blocks away). The towing company even waived the storage fee saving me $30. I'm so lucky!
